We seek and are proposing new styles of Japanese language education through our research of the following issues.
1. Cognition: We promote cognitive linguistics research to apply our findings to Japanese language education. 2. Acquisition: We promote second language acquisition research to apply our findings to Japanese language education. 3. Culture: We promote a new style of holistic Japanese education, incorporating cultural education. 4. Coexistence: We promote education for intercultural citizenship both through plurilingualism and pluriculturalism.
